Biography
Originally from Oil City, Pennsylvania, Komron earned his B.A. in English from Washington and Jefferson College in 1993, then spent years working corporate roles in Los Angeles and Denver before returning to law. He earned his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 2002.
While in law school, he served as a legal intern for the Pittsburgh medical-malpractice firm Meyers, Rosen, Louik, and Perry, where he sat in on depositions and high-profile jury trials from start to finish. That is where his obsession with strategic case preparation, fearlessness in the courtroom, and the jury trial took root.
Since founding the firm in 2003, Komron has served as sole or lead counsel in more than 50 jury trials across Western Pennsylvania, plus federal trials in the Western District of Pennsylvania and Washington D.C. He carries one of the broader federal-bar admissions of any defense attorney in the region.
